Ilana is a fantastic lecturer and communicator and makes the topics interesting. There's three/four different essays that need to be written for the class--follow the instructions as if they were a rubric! She claims there is no rubric but will dock points off your grade if you don't mention everything in the instructions.

Prof. Schroeder is nothing but kind! She truly cares about each and every student and takes the time to get to know them! She is accommodating, understanding, and a reasonable grader! There's quite a bit of reading, but the quizzes/writing assignments are low pressure and fun/engaging.
