I really appreciate how structured the lectures and discussions are! The course is super well organized and HMZ has a really good attitude and is super enthusiastic. The one thing that kind of bothers me is that after 3 unexcused absences one point is taken off your final grade for every class you miss and I think that is a little excessive.Rate My Professors ↗
The class is well structured and organized, and its an easy A. But attendance is super important to your grade; if you miss more than 3 discussions or lectures (and you have discussion every day, its automatically a percentage off your final grade. HMZ is highly organized and lectures very well. For the first half of the course, I didn't find reading necessary because HMZ's lectures are so comprehensive (it quickly becomes necessary). HMZ tears apart the dialogues in the required readings to emphasize grammatical points and new vocab, which is very useful as the course is mostly a self-studyRate My Professors ↗
