About this rating

Raw average: 2.20/5 from 10 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

ECON 301

good class, or at least at par with similar UW econ classes. fun teacher who seems to care: extra office hours before exams and quick at answering emails

He is far from a good professor. His lecture slides are useful, just not in the actual lecture but rather when trying to study for an exam. Speaking of exams they are rather ridiculously graded. I wouldn't recommend this professor but unfortunately I think he is the only professor that teaches this class. If you have to take his class, good luck.

Francesco is shy but overall a good professor. His class isnt easy but he wants his students to do well and is responsive if you have questions.

ECON 310
Quality 1/5Difficulty 4/5
I basically learn most of the course materials from reading the textbook and go to discussions. If you want to do well in this class, better hope for a good TA or have excellent self-study skill.

ECON 311
Quality 3/5Difficulty 3/5
Overall, a interesting Professor, but Lectures can be vague at times. If you do the practice problems, read the book, and have a decent TA you should do fine.

Nice guy, but a bad teacher. Lectures are ineffective and useless, and exams are unpredictable. Pray for a good TA.
