Prof Brooks was very organized and passionate about the course material; the material was interesting most of the time. No need to do the "required" reading as everything you need to know is on her powerpoints. This makes for little to no homeowork. AKA Folklore 103; The tests and pop quizzes were incredibly easy. I thought that the class was going to focus more on popular music from each genre but most of the genres I have never heard of before. Overall, I enjoyed the class and would recommend it. I had her for music 101 in Fall 2014. She is a good teacher. This class was really easy, studied for about 3 hours for each midterm and final and did really well. Also, I am very confused as to why she is not rated on the hotness scale, she is very attractive for a professor.Rate My Professors ↗

I did not enjoy this class at all and I believe it was partially because of Brooks. She was a bit demeaning. Although the class was easy, she would take off points for ridiculous reasons which was why I did not receive the A I was hoping to and expecting to receive.Rate My Professors ↗
