Terrible teacher, completely disorganized, doesn't know the answers to questions or where we were at even in the class. Took Zoology with him and it was the worst. Exams he wouldn't help give word banks at all for 200 question exams expecting you to memorize everything, lecture exams material is not what was covered. Don't really know what to say about the guy outside of the fact that he's extremely disorganized (as in writes the exams the night before disorganized) and his exams are too specific to the point of where you will not do well if you don't know everything 100%. His online quizzes are inconsistent with the textbook as well. Avoid.Rate My Professors ↗
I did not like him as an instructor. He couldn't answer questions you asked because he didn't know the answer. No study guide, "just know the concepts" WRONG. Some of the test questions were so specific if you didn't read the book you would have failed the test. He is not very organized either.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. Linder is probably the best lecturer I've ever had. Coming into the class with no interest in Tropical Ecology whatever, Prof. Linder managed to make it accessible and interesting. Tests are easy if you just go to class. Hardly ever use the textbook at all. Overall, great guy!Rate My Professors ↗
Dr. Linder is one of the best professors I've ever had. He explains everything clearly and wants everyone to do well. If you go to class, you'll know what he thinks is important and therefore show up on the exam. Besides being an awesome professor, he is just a great guy.
