As long as you attend the artist talks and write the reflections you can get an easy A. The talks are diverse and super interesting. Elaine is caring and makes comments on your reflections and you feel connected even with a large class size. They have make up assignments if you can't attend a certain talk. Very interesting class and wonderful prof.

Elaine is one of the best professors I've ever had. She really cares about what she does and makes watercolor a great class. Even if you've never really used watercolors, she gives great demos/intros to new methods and techniques, and she makes class fun. Overall a really kind & caring person, and a great class to take with a laid-back atmosphere.
