Lectures are complex but thorough, he explains everything plainly without assuming prior knowledge unlike other NE professors. Textbook readings can help better understanding at times but all the same info is provided in lecture. Homework problems are easy to get stuck on but similar to the examples he works through in class.Rate My Professors ↗

Fantastic Professor. One of the best professors I have had at UW. Some of the comments here are ridiculous. This is Nuclear Engineering, it is supposed to be difficult.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor is unclear about what's covered on test, tests are unclear, and homework is long.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Henderson is extremely helpful and his lectures are clear and concise. He is the type of professor who covers tough material by giving clear, easy-to-understand examples. HW is very tough. Tests are straightforward. Grading is fair. Attendance matters. GO TO CLASS! He's always available for office hours and to help.Rate My Professors ↗
Quality 1/5Difficulty 5/5
Professor Henderson is the worst professor I've had here. His teaching style is to spew random information (90% of which is irrelevant) and hand you packets, lots of packets. His homework is extremely tough because he doesn't give any examples the questions are poorly worded. Expect to teach yourself and get it wrong. Avoid if you can.Rate My Professors ↗

The only reason I come to class is to get all of the handouts that Henderson gives out. Most of the homework requires formulas found only in the packets he gives out, and most of what he sayswrites down is completely useless. He is an ineffective lecturer at best.Rate My Professors ↗
