Quizzes/problem sets are almost entirely based on lectures, but Prof. Parker makes sure the class is engaging and interesting. He explains topics thoroughly and in many different ways to help translate the concept to different styles of learners. Really nice and laid-back guy.Rate My Professors ↗
He is a very knowledgable professor and makes sure to keep classes interesting and relevant to students. He respects his students and asks for their feedback often. Very kind grader which makes it easy for students to relieve themselves of the pressure of performing well, and put more focus into just learning. Doesn't believe in midterms so we had weekly quizzes and homework packets due in lecture so lectures are pretty much mandatory but it's ok. He's funny and smart. Sometimes he messes up but very polite when corrected. Sometimes topics get confusing but he's more than open to questions.Rate My Professors ↗

He gave us a weekly quiz instead of having midterms. The only test was the final exam. It was a lot less stressful than midterms, and made me stay on track better. Quizzes were in class and Problem Sets were gave out in class. Lectures were interesting and he was a very entertaining way to start my mornings. He also gave us candy.Rate My Professors ↗
