My guess was he was overwhelmed with courses (having said he was teaching 6 studio courses). I was told that exam answers had to be quoted from his lecture slides to receive full points. Not only that but remembering all that information for 20+ art works wasn't my strong suit. Grading was tough, yet the workload is small.Rate My Professors ↗

Very hard grader and lots of work, but you learn a lot and he is very knowledgable about Graphic Design.Rate My Professors ↗

Horrible professor with no positive criticism. He is blatantly rude and harasses his students.Rate My Professors ↗

He's knowledgeable and passionate about graphic design, but he's very unpleasant to interact with. Felt like I was interacting with a 5 year old who was trying to win a fight while asking him about assignments and grading. He does petty things and uses his power as a professor to ensure you can't question his actions as a rude belittling person.Rate My Professors ↗

He's highly qualified and knows his stuff. However, the class was miserable because he is unnecessarily strict, inflexible, and sometimes rude. The lectures are long and dry, and he expects you to memorize dozens of artists/titles for every "quiz", which are mini exams. Work hard and get on his good side early on to make the semester more tolerable

I absolutely loved the history of graphic design online. His structure was easy to follow and the work was manageable. You have to get your work in on time but he does not grade difficulty. His passion for graphic design is abundant and his lectures always left me inspired and looking at more graphic inspiration.Rate My Professors ↗
