Gives engaging lectures. Will sometimes go off on tangents or deep dives on specific topics, but he is very clear about what is going to be tested. The lowest of 3 midterms is dropped, the other two and the final total to 300 points for your whole grade. You can earn some extra credit by volunteering. Professor Glasford is great. He really cares about all of his students and is super clear about that in every lecture. Attendance is not mandatory, but there a lots of slides and things to memorize--so I recommend going. He has an EC opportunity, but I didn't need it and still ended w/ an A. Professor Glassford is a great. He has very simple lectures and minimal short textbook readings. He offers extra credit, but the tests are pretty fair. Most of the questions are application based in and easy if you understand the terms. My favorite professor yet! He can be intimidating in his introduction lecture but that's just to make sure you really want to take his course. Otherwise, he shows a genuine interest in the lives of the students and tries to make class interactive. Overall, Demis is a great professor. He keeps the lectures simple, and the textbook reading is minimal and doesn't take a long time. The tests are pretty fair and require you to understand the terms and apply it to scenarios. Best psych professor I've had at Madison! Your grade is determined by 3 midterms (lowest is dropped) and 1 final (cannot be dropped). For the midterms, he bolds/underlines the topics that you need to know for the exam, and the rest of the stuff on the slides you can ignore.
