Professor Zhang is an outstanding educator. He actively engages the class by posing thoughtful questions and continuously refines the course throughout the semester to better meet students' needs. This ability to adapt responsively is, in my view, a rare and commendable quality among professors.

Dayin is a nice guy and a well-respected researcher in the real estate world. However, for this course, I found the lectures unengaging, the course material poorly taught, and the grading structure did not make any sense. I would recommend taking this course with a different professor.

Very boring, hard to understand lectures. Some things would be graded absurdly easy (wrong answers get full credit on one exam) but then other things like the case assignment get graded incredibly harsh based off things he never outlined in the rubric for us to cover. This class convinced me to change my major, just a bad experience all around.

Dayin is a fine teacher when presenting lectures, but his exams and homeworks were the issue. They are a bit lengthy, but most prevalently they were often confusing. Most were 3 long questions and each time 1/3 would be things that were a large jump from what we covered in class. Material is a bit confusing, but stay on top of it and you'll be ok.
