Professor David Hogg is a GREAT lecturer, he loves entomology and he cares about his students. He even learned the names of students, even though Entomology 201 is a large class!

Prof Hogg is a good lecturer who is really passionate about the topic! The class in interesting and not really hard so for sure take it if you need to fulfill your biological sciences requirement!

Professor Hogg is a very clear lecturer and really loves bugs. He gives out weekly quizzes that always have extra credit on them and the 3 midterms have about 5 ex credit points each. There is a bug project where you get to raise a Manduca Hornworm and an easy paper as well. Liked the class a lot and attending is recommended but not needed.

He is one of the best professors I have had. There are weekly quizzes but are fairly easy if you look through his powerpoints. All the quiz questions show up on exams and he offers a ton of bonus points. Raising a bug was fun and you have to keep a daily journal which isn't hard to do. There is one paper but that is graded fairly easy.
