Danny Aerts is an engineering encyclopedia. Great professor to have for this class because his expertise don't allow for any lack of effort on the students' behalves. We couldn't get away with any glossing over core engineering principles, and it made us all well versed in the material. Tough course but it was a good capstone experience.Rate My Professors ↗
I had Danny for lecture, and he's not a very engaging lecturer (just read the lecture slides and you'll be fine, read the book for extra help). However, I also had Danny as my lab instructor, and that was great. He is kind and very patient. The grading was fair and he graded very easily on the final lab.Rate My Professors ↗
The material is very straightforward, labs constitute large portion of your grade and range greatly in difficulty. Lectures are as boring as any and the book is not very useful.Rate My Professors ↗

Danny is a good guy. He's easy going and down to earth. As a ME 368 lab instructor, everyone in our section is beyond thankful to be in his lab compared to the others. He grades everything promptly.
