While Chris is very passionate about dance, he is possibly the worst and least organized professor I have ever had. We didn't receive a syllabus until halfway through the semester, he was constantly late to class, assignments were never clear & he didn't even care to learn the names of his 9 students. He's genuinely an awful person who doesn't care about anyone but himself. Constantly degrading his students and expecting everyone to treat him as a god because he thinks he deserves it. Chris is honestly THE WORST professor I have ever had. He will not learn your name and refer to you as it, in a class of 9 students. He has no respect for his dancers and no respect for his students. He gives no clear instructions, no clear grading policy, and violates dance department policy for his absence requirements. THE ABSOLUTE WORST.Rate My Professors ↗
This guy and his class is just straight up evil, like dude, we have a life and other courses as well, you know. He just throws you like 3 hours of videos and 15 pages of reading EVERY WEEK (not months, WEEKS). I don't even care if I like the contents or not, but being shoved in the face like this is not okay. To say this class was my least favorite class of all time is an understatement. I dreaded every time I had to open it on canvas. It is an online course and there is no lecture. There are damn near 15 assignments a week + 50-100 pages of reading each week. Hard grader & u must use quotes in your work. DONT TAKE unless you love afro dance culture.
