Just follow the instructions and examples of the speeches exactly (like same layout and everything) and you'll do well. She basically just looks to see if you are copying the textbook and its instruction and then you'll get a good grade.

Attend office hours, some speeches can be hard to structure but Caitlin is very thoughtful and helpful when it comes to organizing your thoughts onto paper. If you're dealing with something she will work with you, definitely a prof who wants her students to continue to grow!Attendance is expected but nothing hard,mostly inclusive and fun activities

Caitlin was a solid Comm Arts 100 instructor, she was always very helpful and caring. The class material itself is sub-par, but her grading was always fair and she wanted students to learn and succeed. I came out of the class much more interested in communication that I did going into it!
