I absolutely hated physics and his lectures and personality made me look forward to coming to class. He is very kind, helpful with questions and explains concepts incredibly well. Exams are fair and he clearly wants people to succeed. 10/10!

I had Prof. Rebel for physics 104 (online due to covid) and he made the experience painless. He's a caring guy who takes the time to explain any questions you might have during lectures and is responsive to student needs. He also has a cute dog.

Brian is one of the best physics profs I have had. He is very clear with his explanations and likes to answer questions. His exams are tough but fair, he will not try to trick you.

During COVID-19: Class is 2 professors - only had him a week in person. His slides are meant for in person (they are now useless). They changed the book halfway through the year. The labs are now online. We have an exam, homework, and labs in the same week. Now we need curves for this class when before we were fine. DON'T take this class online!!!!

Professor Rebel is a great lecturer in a field filled with not so great ones. He explains the difficult topics clearly and walks through the calculations. He cares about his students and does what he can to help them succeed. Lots of homework though, and the chapters are a bit dense. Just make sure you have plenty of time to digest everything.
