Easily the best class I've had in college so far. Brian is so experienced and caring - he made all the content, vocab quizzes, and kahoots enjoyable. Always tries his best to give you extra points and offer useful advice. Thank god we got him from Minnesota. I personally was only taking the class for a gen-ed requirement for engineering. Turns out, Mcinnes blows all of my other professors out of the water. I ended up enjoying AMER301 more than my other classes because of how Mcinnes teaches his class. He is very well structured and tells intriguing stories for lectures. Took cscs125, heard a lot about how he would be late to office hours/ wouldn't show up. Class was easy enough but large paper directions could be confusing. Would upload assignments late sometimes and have them due at the beginning of the week. Manageable but not great.Rate My Professors ↗
Prof. McInnes is an incredibly fun lecturer. He told very interesting stories to get certain points across and was very entertaining to listen to. Even better, his exams and homework were very simple, and it was very clear what he wanted. Not having to worry about grades made it a lot easier for me to freely learn Ojibwe through this course!Rate My Professors ↗
