He didn't assign homework from a book, but made some up online homework. He forgot to make homework for around a month, and so I felt very unprepared for the midterms.Rate My Professors ↗

Brian himself is a likeable guy, that being said, being a Prof isn't his strong suit. 2 midterms, both hard with averages below 60%, if you want to succeed you really have to be self motivated, I would suggest joining GUTS and Math Tutorial. Post practice problems occasionally, same goes for homework, but not too reliable. Doesn't reply to email.Rate My Professors ↗

This class was absolutely ridiculous. I went to every lecture even though it didn't help me at all. The exams were extremely long and the equationsquestions were way more advanced than anything gone over in lecturediscussion. Professor writes every word he says on the board, which is really annoying!Rate My Professors ↗

David Dynerman is the best, most chilled TA. Professor Cook is a wonderful man. He is funny but sometime his lecture could be very confusing. His exam guides are nothing like the exams. Exam are long and hard. My class average is always around the 50. But that also means that if you secure 70 or more, you are guaranteed an A.Rate My Professors ↗

The "textbook" that they have you get is a joke. It is very confusing and sometimes very different from what they teach in class. The examples that he goes over in lecture make little sense and are very different from what he puts on exams. At the beginning of the year he assigned weekly homework, which was helpful, but ultimately just gave up.Rate My Professors ↗
