Dr. Shannon is my favorite professor at UW Madison. He gives great lectures and they are super packed with information. I have taken 2 of his classes and I wish I could take more. Awesome guy.Rate My Professors ↗

Shannon was a great professor, weekly readings could get quite long but not awful and somewhat interesting. Much of the grade comes from a couple papers but this correlates with it being a research/analysis writing class. Attendance was mandatory and graded. Lectures were interesting and he was very fun to listen to. Always enthusiastic about classRate My Professors ↗

Dr. Shannon is one of my favorite teachers of all time. I would highly recommend his courses to anyone, regardless of whether or not they are a history major. Lectures are super interesting. He cares a lot about his students and is very good about making sure the material makes sense.Rate My Professors ↗

Dr. Shannon was an awesome instructor. Though he hadn't taught the History of World War II before, he came adequately prepared each time we met with accurate and detailed lectures. The readings that he assigned we also very informative and interesting. His passion for history made class enjoyable. I recommend taking a class with him if you can.Rate My Professors ↗
