He's a great professor and engages a lot with the class. There are 3 exams throughout the semester, which are open notes of 2 pages. Lecture and discussion are mandatory. There are two readings per week, which are pretty hard to comprehend, but he goes through each reading during class. He cares a lot about his students and is very understanding.Rate My Professors ↗

He's very nice, has good humour, class sometimes drag but he tries very hard to make it engaging, and tests aren't that hard, class should be pretty easy to get an A in, class uses perusall right now for homework but it's decently doable twice a weekRate My Professors ↗

I really enjoyed taking this class. Participation matters but the lectures are very interesting to attend. Created an environment that was very encouraging to students who were just being introduced to philosophy. Although if you are looking for an introductory class that teaches the basics of writing philosophy papers, this may not be the class.Rate My Professors ↗

Super cool, easygoing, british guy. It is hard not to love him. Easy class. Attendance is heavily mandatory and lectures were sometimes boring, but so hard to not get an A. Def take for credit.Rate My Professors ↗
