It was one of toughest lecture I've ever taken. Professor's explanation is somewhat unclear. He explains difficult thing in a difficult way and loves mathematical notations which make even harder to understand. Discussion classes really help a lot, so go to discussion section.Rate My Professors ↗
Professor Penta definitely makes you work for it, but if you show up to class and do the problem sets (not graded), you'll do fine on tests. He allows you to drop the lowest grade out of the three midterms AND the final. Fast-paced class, but if you need help he'll readily answer questions.Rate My Professors ↗

This is a difficult class! This guy really loves dense mathematical notation, sometimes to the detriment of clarity. Lectures are the typical econ PowerPoint routine, unfortunately. His lecture notes are pretty thorough, but I feel like he tried to cram too much stuff into one semester. Homework and exams are pretty reasonable. I'd take him again.Rate My Professors ↗
The material is not challenging, but the PACE makes the class very difficult. Penta does a great job explaining material during lecture, but be prepared for concepts to be explained mathematically. Penta was easy to follow in lectures for the most part, but he is not very good at answering questions in class. Also, he frequently flips things around in equations and makes mistakes, which can make things SUPER hard to follow. If you take Penta, leave extra time studying to allow for being confused by his typos.Rate My Professors ↗
