Professor Black is awesome. Even though i'm a stem major and I only took this class for a credit I thoroughly enjoyed it — learned a lot and had fun doing it. He is also very understanding and reasonable as well as funny. 100% recommend taking a class with him.Rate My Professors ↗

I've read that Prof. Black has lacked in communication through email. Although he's not the most tech savvy, I had no issue communicating with him. When in class, you could tell that he truly valued your opinion and had an open mind to any new ideas. He is very passionate about what he teaches and he encourages students to dive deeper into materialRate My Professors ↗
He was an amazing professor! It isn't difficult to get a good grade in the class, and he is so passionate about the subject. Attendance is mandatory, but I really didn't mind coming to class because we talked about interesting topics that were pretty engaging. I have no idea why he has 3 stars?? Definitely take this class, we watched 3 movies too!Rate My Professors ↗
when I first read the bad comments about Prof. Black, I thought it was just racism, but it's not. His course is disorganized, Canvas, assignments, and lectures. He always cancels/reschedules office hours and barely replies to emails. Prof. Black is passionate about what he teaches but is he passionate about teaching is a good question to ask.Rate My Professors ↗
This professor might be the most Unaccommodating and unfunny professor you can have. He does NOT care if you missed his class for any reason, I was really sick for a whole week and had trouble even with just getting up. His response for my request to redo an assignment was "It was in the syllabus". If you enjoy reading 60 pages everyday, take itRate My Professors ↗
He claimed my paper was AI. It wasn't. I had proof that it wasn't and he still made me rewrite it. Doesn't get back to emails.Rate My Professors ↗
