Not a huge fan of explicit grammar instructions but would give her a solid 5 for the awesome feedback and clear instructions. Her expectations are very straightforward which makes quizzes and assignments a lot easier. I also love the course materials she chose - the film and the articles are so interesting.Rate My Professors ↗

Overall, I enjoyed FR271 with Theobald, as I learned a lot more about French literature and culture. She is very grammar-heavy, so I learned a lot more about French writing as well. The biggest criticism of this professor is her attendance policy. 10 points for every class, and although I would participate and show up, I would still get a 7-8/10.Rate My Professors ↗

Professor Theobald is one of the kindest instructors that I've had and I always look forward to her class. She is very knowledgeable and cares a lot about the topics she teaches, and her lectures are always well organized and clear. She gives good feedback and grades fairly. She makes class interesting and not too difficult or stressful.Rate My Professors ↗

Very cool and interesting course, and the professor is super sweet and clearly loves what she does while also being well rounded in the topic. The readings range from short paragraphs to longer stories that are enjoyable to read. She is old fashioned in which she has assignments and exams on paper, I found it very refreshing though! I recommend!Rate My Professors ↗

Anne is a very caring and kind professor, but overall grades are hard. The exams changed from 20-minute quick quizzes to taking over 50 minutes worth triple the points. She cares more about grammar than anything else. Keeping up with all of the vocabulary necessary for the quizzes can be difficult.Rate My Professors ↗
