Great professor! Teaches in a way that helps you learn a lot of new vocabulary quickly, though it can be a little overwhelming at times. Strict but not unfair. Wish I could take her courses again.

Great teacher and awesome class. You learn and talk about current Russian topics and events. We also got to watch a movie and got some Russian food. You do one 5 minute presentation on Russian culture and and if you go to all the classes you will get an A. You only have class once a week.

Honors class that can be taken while taking Slavic 101 (Russian). Native from Ukraine, very nice, obviously knows the language and culture very well. No tests or quizes. One 5 minute presentation and attendance is your entire grade. If you show up and do the presentation (in english) you get an automatic A. Take it!

Amazing professor. She really pushes you to push yourself. You'll actually be able to hold at least a basic conversation with native speakers after this class. Slight Ukrainian accent, but hardly noticeable. Class structure could use some work, the schedule is loosely followed. Very friendly at office hours and goes out of her way to help.
