Prof Anhai is the Uncle Iroh equivalent of UW madison - if that interests you, take the class with him. PS. gives a lot of tips for tech interviews

This was the only professor that I clapped for 10 minutes after the last lecture. Marvolous lectures which are easy to understand. Funny style of teaching that helps you concentrate on the class. Important life-time ideas that you should keep in mind even outside Database world. You are my light in my academic life, Anhai!

He's the funniest professor in the CS department—I didn't go to any lectures, but when I was cramming for exams, I actually wished I had. I would voluntarily listent to his stories and unsolicited life advice. He does water down the course heavily tho. So if you're here for vibes, he's your guy. If you're here to learn, maybe look elsewhere.

TAKE THE CLASS WITH ANHAI. Professor 2% created genuinely engaging lectures filled with iconic quotes, jokes, as well as the class you actually signed up for. It's only graded by two exams and five group assignments. The assignments are all manageable and the exams connect to the lectures well. Is this a good or bad thing? "It depends."
