Profe Schmiege is an absolute gem. He helps students learn language in a "non-busy work" way. His energy is inspiring at 8am and he keeps the class engaged. The feedback he gives on writing work is super constructive and he wants every student to succeed. He even knew everyone's name on the first day of class without meeting us. TAKE HIS CLASS!

Profe was a lot of fun to have as an instructor, although the class was seriously laid back in comparison to the rest of my courses. Not to say that's a bad thing, but sometimes it was too laid back. He doesn't grade things and there are no exams, which takes the pressure off. His feedback is great and there are always opportunities to improve.
