This class was great, and also one of the easiest I have taken in college. The tests are very straightforward and mostly common sense questions. She really emphasizes reading the book, so it is important to at least read for the main ideas. Since it was her first time teaching, she wasn't fully prepared and her exams weren't always the clearest. Must go to class for participation/discussion points - but easy to obtain 100% in that area. Extra credit offered. Since it is only graded off of 3 exams and the discussion, must do pretty well on each exam - but overall pretty easy ARate My Professors ↗
It's her first time teaching, but she's definitely been getting better at lecturing since the beginning of the semester. With some topics you can tell she's not really comfortable teaching the material, but it's an easy enough class that it doesn't really matter. This is a really easy class, especially if you're interested in the topic. Her lectures are pretty boring and she mostly reads off the slides, but you have to show up and answer questions for attendance credit. 3 midterms and a final and you can drop the lowest score.
