Professor Brooks is incredibly helpful in office hours. Many times this semester, I have been stumped on a project, and he is very good at walking you through the logic required to understand the issue. I have been very happy with his help outside of the class during this online semester.Rate My Professors ↗

Easy class. Homework due every week on wednesday.Rate My Professors ↗

Can be confusing sometimes because he thinks of algorithms much more deeply than the students, but is always willing to stop and explain. Very kind and will give help if needed. Also has jolly ranchers.Rate My Professors ↗

While the grading in CS300 may have been tough and sometimes downright harsh, this isnt because of any professor, as most of the grading in this class was automated. As for Alexander Brooks, he was a great teacher and never had a mean thing to say. He was available a lot outside of class for anyone struggling. Class? Tough. Teacher? GreatRate My Professors ↗

He's a sweet guy, but he's boring and the class itself is terribly structured, though he seems not to have control over the class structure. A huge portion of the projects are already written and the written portions are not explained. Very nitpicky grading, and understanding project instructions is tougher than the coding.Rate My Professors ↗
