About this rating

Raw average: 2.40/5 from 5 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.

Quality 5/5Difficulty 3/5
Professor Ai is always patient and caring. He writes math proofs on board carefully and rigorously. He often provides the motivation for the mathematical concepts and has a good organization of course content.

Honestly, one of the better professors for math 431. The material is relatively easy, but Albert tries to explain the deeper reasonings for each problem to prepare for later problems in the book. Realistically, any professor would be the same in the course since they all teach directly from the UW-licensed book in order.

actually garbage, avoid at all costs. the problem is the class is relatively easy but its explained so poorly its impossible to know what's going on. Literally lecture is watching professor ai fill 2 entire pages with greek symbols and random syntax to "explain" something like flipping a coin. The worst professor Ive ever had.

Not responsive to questions on online forum. Doesn't present challenging topics clearly in class. Doesn't have a strong handle on the material he's teaching. Homework is not representative of what's covered on exams. Don't take the course with him, seriously.
