Summary

What you’ll be able to do

  • Identify the fundamentals of systematic review procedures and identify systematic review typologies requirements, strategies for repeatability/reproducibility, and publication development.

  • Use guides (e.g. PICO) and tools (e.g. Rayyan) with an emphasis on developing your own open access toolkit.

  • Assess the need and question the development of proposed systematic review.

  • Develop and register a systematic review protocol.

  • Search and evaluate peer-reviewed and grey literature.

  • Conduct eligibility screening, data extraction and coding using inclusion-exclusion criteria, tools for collaborative and rapid review, extraction templates and best practices, combining raw and summary data.

  • Synthesize results of a systematic review.

  • Characterize bias including types of bias and resulting study limitations.

About this rating

Raw average: 5.00/5 from 1 quality ratings. The adjusted rating blends this with the UW review average (3.66/5), weighted as 20 additional ratings. Smaller samples stay closer to that average. Each captured review is counted once in the prior; this does not correct who chooses to leave a review.
