  • Prepare and perform quality choral literature that encompasses diverse musical expressions that represent a variety of historical and cultural perspectives.

  • Share passion for choral singing by communicating the meaning of this great literature to our audiences.

  • Develop and improve music literacy, including sight singing, pitch and rhythmic accuracy, and aural skills.

  • Assist all members of the ensemble in the development of their vocal instruments and talents beyond their singing.

  • Establish meaningful relationships, build community, and advance their treatment of other human beings.

  • Represent and maintain the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s long tradition of choral excellence.

  • Cultivate and enhance leadership abilities within the ensemble.
