What you’ll be able to do

  • Engage in professional work experiences and training in the nonprofit sector. Training and work may involve (but not be limited to) activities and tasks related to: fundraising, event planning, advertising/public relations, volunteer coordination, budgeting, human resource management, and customer service programs.

  • Develop analytical skills and problem‐solving competencies related to working with nonprofit agencies.

  • Apply academic knowledge to the nonprofit work environment

  • Develop professional competencies in written and oral communication.
