Fifth Semester Tibetan focuses on advanced proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing through communicative approaches.
Summary
What you’ll be able to do
Read, comprehend, and infer different forms or styles of Tibetan compositions.
Write texts in many different writing formalities; Write articles, essays, and reports while supporting and expressing opinions.
Speak in extended discourse to support their opinion, express your opinion and preferences, make suggestions, give and accept advice, and formulate hypotheses.

Proficiency at the advanced level in listening, speaking, reading and writing, using communicative approaches. Students with prior experience in the language are required to take a placement test administered by the department. Not open to students with credit for LCA LANG 557 prior to Fall 2019.
