Develop an understanding of theories of language learning and development to build a theoretical foundation that will provide the basis for work with bi/multilingual learners. Analyze the language learning and language use of an emergent bilingual across multiple contexts at a practicum site. Consider the implications of theories for language learning and development for instructional design while learning research tools to enhance teaching practice.
