  • Apply the tools of economic analysis (both theoretical and empirical tools) to evaluate specific policy proposals, especially as they relate to contemporary issues in African development.

  • Communicate effectively in written and graphical form about issues in African development.

  • Explain the social, economic, and/or environmental dimensions of the sustainability challenges of development of African nations.

  • Analyze the causes of and solutions for the sustainability challenge of generating agricultural and economic development of African countries.
