Kulie is a new teacher, and is aware of it. He asks for student feedback and will dedicated lectures to reviewing past concepts if he knows he didn't teach them well. Overall it was a difficult introductory-level course, as concepts seemed out of order and disorganized, but has promise to improve. Not much time to complete HW, but accepts late work

I liked talking to Dr. Kulie and it was helpful when I asked questions one on one. Lecture slides were so hard to review with. They are pictures with hardly any explanations on them. I am a non-stem major and I took this class because I thought it would be easy but there are far better options to get that physical credit out of the way.

He is so awesome, kind, funny, I could go on and on. Super accessible outside of class and truly cares about his students understanding the material and performing well. He gives a lot of grace and opportunities to improve your grades. I would love to have him as my professor again.

I really loved how engaging his lectures were, as well as the fact that they were recorded, so when I had to miss a lecture, I could watch it online. He's super great about being accessible outside of class, and he also opens up extra office hours close to any exam. Overall, I really hope I can take a class with him as my professor again.

dr. kulie is such a nice guy but just isn't the most versed in teaching yet. If you ask for help one on one he's good, but his lecture slides are bad. it's all just pictures and barely any words. i have a hard time trying to decipher each diagram/visual because there are at least 30 every lecture. its a lot compared to my other introductory classes

Has amazing study guides available before every exam. Textbook is nowhere near required, might only be helpful if you miss a lecture. Lectures were very entertaining while being very informative. Grading was well distributed across homework, exams, and small after lecture assignments. Great professor.
