The emphasis is on the identification and analysis of phenomena of concern to nursing, scientific and theoretical underpinnings of the discipline, the centrality of health and environment, hallmarks of scholarliness, and nursing leadership and collaboration to actualize the goals of nursing. Provides a foundational knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed for nursing leadership and population health.
