I switched into his section as recommended by friends, and I couldn't be more happy I did! While 320 is a boring and incredibly conceptual class, Prof. Graham is engaging and kind. He does a good job with student questions and his youth is a benefit to his teaching. You can tell he really prepares and wants his students to succeed. 100% recommend!!

the content can be hard to wrap your head around, and he tends to focus on the abstract material rather than showing examples, but thats my only complaint. lectures are recorded which is great! the homework assignments do help with grasping all the information. as long as you pay attention to lectures and study for exams youll do fine

Very, very clear lecturer. Everything was said in a very easy-to-understand way, and he always used chalk instead of slides so I could actually follow along writing in my notebook without falling behind. Fantastic lecturer.

Cole gives great lectures. He is very knowledgable on the subject and almost always draws a visual representation for any hard topic. If you follow along in lectures, this class will be very easy.

Cole encourages students to ask questions, acknowledging errors in his explanations. He is engaged with the material, and is able to make students smile. Recorded lectures, accessible TAs, enthusiastic. The best math prof you will have at UW so don't pass him up. Loves green/blue/khaki color pairings in his outfits.

Great lectures, amazing office hours

Great professor, great great great lectures. Highly recommended. Could be one of your best math experiences here in Madison so don't let go of it.

Great professor who was able to keep things simple and allow us to build to more challenging problems. He offered online lectures in case students missed which was very helpful. Sometimes I think that some of the content gone over wasn't necessary for the test but overall best professor I have had so far.

Professor Graham's lectures were pretty good; however, he spent a bit too much time on concepts that didn't help on exams/homework. That being said, he was always very energetic and friendly during class. The difficulty increases gradually then quickly throughout the semester so be ready.

Cole Graham is a good professor despite it being a difficult course, I would rate 5 out of 5, but sometimes he dives too far into things that are irrelevant to exams and spends too much time in lectures going over theory rather than testable materials. Other than that, he clearly cares about the class, recording every lecture.

Cole was such an amazing professor. He made a difficult class so interesting and easy to follow, and it was even his first semester teaching. He's such a nice guy and always has a smile on his face. He answers questions very clearly and thoroughly and never sends any judgement. Im taking linear algebra with him next semester. I 100% recommend him.

Prof. Graham was amazing and I made sure to get into his lecture for linear algebra next semester. Especially considering it was his first semester teaching, I was super impressed by how clear and well-organized his lectures were. He also has a great sense of humor that makes class fun, and he clearly cares about his students.

He's my hero! I got a grading error for midterm 2 but since gradescope didn't send any email I missed the regrade request. However, Professor Graham helped me change my grade form 88.5 to 96.5. I have motivation to review for the final again!

love this guy

Have Graham right now for Math 234, amazing professor, he explains everything very well and seems like he actually cares that each and everyone of his students understands the content.

Makes every calculus concept in lecture feel as easy as algebra 2. Write big on the board too

This is his first semester teaching, and he did splendidly.

His lectures are quite clear, and well-paced. It's quite a lot of content in the span of an hour and 15 minutes, and he manages to dissect it beautifully.
