Includes exercises in handling "cold" readings, prepared monologues, interviews, and improvisational auditioning. Student will also learn to look at auditions from the casting director's point of view.

Learn tools for script analysis, character development, and on-camera performance which will be recorded and critiqued in class.

ACTING SKILLS FOR LIFE

THEATRE 200

Learn how to apply acting skills to presentations and interactions in non-arts settings (business, education, etc.), such as enhancing confidence and communication in interviews presentations, elevator pitches, authentically connecting on a personal level with others, and how to avoid or better deal with stage fright.
