I learned all the material through my TA and in discussion. We had to use R on some of the homework and quizzes but it was never on the exams which was annoying that we had to put so much time into it. The curve was nice but the lectures were bad.Rate My Professors ↗

His lectures were boring and disorganized, and he was terrible at explaining concepts. The homework is not turned in, your grade is determined by 14 quizzes and 3 exams plus a final, so you better be a good test taker. Quizzes, homework, lecture, and discussion, didn't represent the actual tests. Makes you use R Studio much more than necessary.Rate My Professors ↗

He posted slides, but did all work on board, so you have to go to lecture to see how to do problems. "Homework" was the same problems he quizzed you on the next class. Not a great lecturer, but allowed full 8.5x11 note sheets on exams, which weren't terribly difficult if you did practice problems.Rate My Professors ↗

One of the worst lecturers I've ever had. Seemed unsure of himself at every turn and often made mistakes in the explanations given in class and in the homework solutions. The sample questions and homeworks weren't at all representative of the exams. Take literally anyone else if possible or just don't take it at all in case you get him as a teacherRate My Professors ↗

This has been one of the worst classes I have taken at UW with one of the worst professors Ive had at UW. Horribly unclear and unorganized during lecture, lecture notes are posted but are hardly helpful. Homework doesn't correlate to quizzes and quizzes don't correlate to exams. Don't take this unless you're comfortable with R studio.Rate My Professors ↗
