Textbook (I took the class before the switch to packets) was very useful and taught me everything.  I recommend getting it anyways (Thomas' Calculus). Exams were identical to practice exams.",

I actually did better teaching myself with the text book and watching online videos. If you have a choice, pick a different professor. You may think all the reviews are from jaded students, think again. This guy is bad news.",

Lectures are very difficult to understand because he makes so many mistakes (TAs always had to correct him) and he goes on tangents quite often. (no pun intended) If you have the option, take someone else. If you don't have a choice, then skip lecture and read the book or work on problems with a tutor.",

He is without doubt a smart guy. He just has no idea how to teach. His class is way more challenging than it should be simply because e is a horrible instructor.",
