Professor Likos is a solid professor. Exams are streight up, and they reflect the lectures/homework. The lab reports in this class can get annoying, but what lab reports don't? Overall, very solid and would recommend.

Knows what he's talking about but spends a lot of time explaining one concept and then skips through slides to explain another concept at length. Goes through examples very quickly. Says the material is "intuitive" multiple times. Difficult to know what's important and what's not because he gets really into it and then says "Where were we?"

Do the homework and the class is pretty easy going. He explains stuff well and in an engaging way. Definitely made soil mechanics more interesting than everyone thought it would be.

Professor Likos refuses to help students or give any direction to the TA's. He effectively says you should go and learn the material yourself and he does not want to aid in that process
