funny proffessor, class was interesting some of the times a lot of video clips. dont know how its possible to not get an A in the class, you would have to try to fail. The tests are hard but all the matters is doing the learning activities and discussions. If you cant get an A you probably should be kicked out of madison.Rate My Professors ↗
well if you keep the reader, and go over it along with the slides(that he posts online) before the exam, you'll find that its basically impossible to get less than an AB. just make sure you do the learning activities, blog posts, and clicker-questions.Rate My Professors ↗

Although Bland is a funny guy this was probably the worst class I have ever taken. Material is boring. Test are incomprehensible. His mult. choice questions are A-F and sound all the same. The only good thing is that points are all equal so do the Learning Activities, go to lecture; even if you fail every test (which I did) you can still get a B.Rate My Professors ↗
Bill Bland is a funny guy and he keeps you entertained w/ boring material. But he explains things weirdly which makes for really confusing slides and test questions. I found his MC and clickr questions killer. But he makes it easy to get an A in the class. No need to buy the Reader that goes along w/ the textbook. Professor Bland makes it pretty hard to fail this class. He's goofy, makes obscure references which I enjoyed ("Let's grok this out...") and he knows the subject matter.
