Hands down the best prof at UW. His lectures are crystal clear and the grading criteria is extremely fair. There is a major project which accounts for ~50% of the grade and can be time-consuming. Classes can be packed so make sure to apply early or else you'll be waitlisted. Cutoffs are usually skewed on the higher side too.

Excellent professor who delivers engaging lectures. The course content has been updated to reflect the latest trends in the field and the course project is fun too. Class averages are usually on the higher side and the class is not too challenging as well.

Ogras is amazing and easily one of the best professors at UW-Madison. His lectures are engaging and he gives practical examples that help appreciate the concepts better. He is extremely caring and wants students to learn. 10/10 would recommend!

Prof. Ogras' lectures were always focused, and he highlighted what was important and what was not. Tests and quizes were always very fair. When students were struggling, he adjusted deadlines as necessary and there was always clear communication. One of the best professors I have had in the ECE department. Take his class, if you get the chance.
