Seems like a very nice lady and runs a very interesting class. I wish the class was a little more organized. It is a project based course and we didn't receive our materials to build our project until 4 weeks before this semester long project was due. We weren't able to do anything in lab for 3 weeks due to having no materials.
Her lectures weren't very interesting and attendance decreased as everyone learned that she posted all the slides and the post-lec assignments were easy. Lab was pretty chill but the majority of this class felt like busywork before the project, which felt rushed at the end. Felt like the lecture was a waste of time but was sometimes interesting
Like most, I quickly realized 170 lectures were a waste of time. Might just be me, but her presenting style became annoying with how boring it was. Complete the lecture assignment by EOW and you won't get any points deducted (attendance is NOT mandatory🥳) Puccinelli may be a nice person but I can't say I went to enough lectures to know.
The beginning of the class was rough b/c of assignments--some a bit redundant. As for Prof. Tracy, three words: caring, kind, and understanding. Genuinely. If you need help, REACH OUT. Let her know. Fun time. Great learning experience. Wonderful and supportive teacher. This class is an opportunity you should take. Don't skim it.
INTER EGR 170 content was boring enough, she just wasn't an entertaining lecturer. I nearly fell asleep in half of the lectures.
Lab portion was super fun, but I found the lectures (moved to in person which is different from other years) to be a waste of time. Some topics were cool and relevant to lab but often times they were a waste. She really loves the Clifton Strength Assessment to be prepared to talk about that a lot.
Although the lectures were online, in each lecture the professor either talked herself, or brought someone to talk about an interesting topic that was useful in some way during the labs. Some of the lectures helped me think about future situations in different ways.
I've never met Dr. Puccinelli in person - the lectures were all online. I liked the labs for this course, but the lectures were usually a little boring. Attendance for the Zooms decreased as the semester went on.
She is a clear grader. She is very understanding and hears out her students.
With such a baseline class, Prof Puccinelli does a great job keeping it interesting and engaging. However, for the 3 credits you receive, the amount of work is a lot. You do about as much work for this class as you could for a 4 or 5 credit class.
Dr. Puccinelli is really friendly and caring. She is also very patient. Her class is really fun because I could tell she wants the best for her students.
Dr. Puccinelli is a nice professor who is passionate about engineering. Her lecture style isn't super entertaining but she is great to talk outside of lecture.
