Great lecturer, her teaching style works well for the class, and lectures are recorded, but she can be a bit snarky when answering questions. Beware that she smacks her lips A TON which made watching any of her video resources painful. Exams r rly tough but fair if you devote your life to studying material, especially in second half of the class.

Dr. Wang is very knowledgeable in all subjects covered in the class but can move through them at a quick pace. The papers are graded fairly and averages were always around 90%. The class is easy to understand if you have a strong background in cell biology or biochemistry. You also develop a very strong ability to read and understand primary lit.

Gives great presentations and clearly draws the structures out. Rewards progression(scoring higher and higher on one exam after another), so don't get down after a poor first exam. Don't need the textbook but it can help supplement her lectures.

I took the honors section of this course and really liked Dr. Wang's lectures and approach when it came to intro OChem. The lectures were very good and she wants you to really understand what is going on. Reading the textbook really helped me personally and a good understanding here leads to a better understanding second semester.

Professor Wang's lectures were incredibly organized, concise, and clear. She gave plenty of resources outside of class for preparing for exams, including hand-picked textbook problems and problem sets. Her exams are difficult but well written and are very accessible if you use all the study material she provides. Overall a great professor.

Dr. Wang is easily the best chemistry professor I've had to date. Her lectures are very clear and she gives ample time during lectures to ask questions. Although she writes difficult exams, the practice exams, problem sets, and book problems assigned provide many opportunities to succeed. I hope I can take another class with her in the future!

I believe it was her first time teaching Chem 343 at Madison, but honestly one wouldn't have been able to tell. Her lectures are clear and informative and you always have a strong idea of what you need to know before a test. The one slight problem is that she provides a little fewer practice problems/practice exams than the other teachers.
