Our class literally made a groupchat about how amazing he is. Truly cares about all his students. Exams can be a bit confusing but there's usually a couple freebie questions. Listening to him nerd out about deer is the best.

All of Van Deelen's points come from exams in this class, but I was okay with that. I really enjoyed learning from him, he is so passionate about his work with deer. I would absolutely take another course with him. I think he is remarkable. If you miss a single lecture, you are missing out on a great opportunity.

Tim was great. Very understanding and willing to help. He's the perfect person to teach this course, he's worked in animal population dynamics his whole career. Very inspirational.

Tim was great! Animal population dynamics is a topic that's not easy to teach, but he did extremely well. I got a lot out of the class and will likely take him for another class.
