Would not recommend. Lectures were not very valuable, slow & improper explanations. Notes are easy to go through after lectures though.

Bro this professor is the worst. I couldn't understand anything she said during lecture. Her madgrades is significantly worst than all the other professors, and there is a reason for that. Save yourself, do not take this professor. She does not know how to teach.

Professor Le is a truly caring professor. She wants her students to succeed, and if you go to her outside of class, she will help you with any questions. The lectures were sometimes rushed or confusing, but throughout the year the pacing mostly got better. Lecture attendance isn't mandatory, but it's hard to catch up unless you can teach yourself.

Classic case of nice person but bad teacher. Notes were convoluted, practice wasn't very well organized, and TAs clearly didn't have very clear instructions on what to do during discussion sections. Tests weren't unfair but if you didn't practice, you would fail.

Great personality, awful professor. Her lectures went very fast, and she introduced topics with little explanation and simple examples. Her explanations were also very confusing, and she even confused herself at times. I would recommend getting another prof for this class unless you're good at teaching concepts to yourself.

Nice lady, terrible lecturer. Gets very confused with her own work and backtracks a lot, often comparing with students for help. Bit of a language barrier, not terrible. Loves starting entirely new concepts with no context within last 2 min of class, that you have homework on before she finishes teaching it. Final was nothing like practice tests.

Thu Le is a wonderful person. She brings a certain positivity to the lecture hall that motivates all who are willing to listen. While certain aspects of her teachings can be confusing to comprehend, there is no doubt in my mind that she has shaped me into a more positive person. She makes me care about math more than any professor has.

Professor Le was a very caring and kind professor however her lectures were often unclear and she herself would become confused. She would often check her work with ours and ask if she got the right answer. Her lectures did get better throughout the semester but only to an extent. The class itself isn't that hard however it is very test heavy.

Professor Le is super kind and an awesome teacher. She brought energy to the lectures, paused often for questions, and made sure to slow down when we were struggling. I've learned a lot from her class, and she helped me see many cool connections between calc and my other engineering courses.

Hands down the WORST lecturer I have ever encountered. There is a bit of a language barrier but the true problem lies in her teaching abilities. She introduces a concept with no explanation or applications and goes straight to an example. If you want to learn nothing about calc 3 and just how to memorize a formula she is the way to go. STAY AWAY!!!

Professor Le is super kind and approachable. It's worth going to her lecture but they can be a little confusing sometimes. She is very knowledgeable and encourages students to ask questions. You definetly have to put in time outside of this class if you want to do well.

It can be pretty frustrating to be in her class as the material is her just reading the textbook pretty much. Exams are relatively easy and 87% of your overall grade, but might have to rely on self-studying or TA.

Knows calc but can't convey the information in a meaningful way. I found the language barrier to be less of an issue than her projecting her voice into the mic literally touching her lips. Unless you're hard of hearing or enjoy getting formulers screamed at you I would try and take someone else.

This is the single greatest lecture I have ever attended in my entire 24 years of being. I was going through a hard time and the only thing keeping me going was the uppa boun, lowwa boun. Whenever she teaches me the formular, I know the ansher. oh, thu le, where do i even begin ... you are my sunshine

This class is mostly graded on the exams but they are honestly very easy. Also Calc 3 has the same exams regardless of your professor. Prof. Le is a very kind person but not a great lecturer. There's a bit of a language barrier and the lectures are just not very organized in general. I learned most of the materials from my TA and self studying.

This is one of the worst lectures that I have been a part of. I can do the work in a third of the time and still understand it more than her lectures. Overall, the coursework is not bad, but not being taught the material is frustrating and difficult. Towards the end of the class, 3/4 of the students stopped going to lecture.

This was her first time teaching this class. It's clear she does know what she's talking about most of the time, but sometimes she gets really confused with her own teaching and gets lost trying to explain a concept. She seems like a very nice lady but not great at explaining, and also loves to start entirely new topics with 2min left of class.
