Tyler is a pretty fair, down to earth guy. 771 is not the best course by design, but Tyler is always energetic. Group questions for each class, easy discussion posts, two tests, and a big group project at the end. Pretty doable to do well as long as you do the readings, participate, and follow Tylers instructions. No textbook, articles on canvas

I hated cost accounting before this class since 211 is terribly taught. Prof Thomas clarified topics and made them easy to understand. The homeworks are fairly easy. Exams are fair for the most part. He also seems to be a lenient grader towards the end of the course since I rarely did better than the average hut got an AB. Lectures are useful

Cost accounting is one of my least favorite topics. I dreaded taking this class but having Tyler as a professor made it bearable. Take it with him if you can. The textbook is worthless but assignments come from the back of each chapter so it is unfortunately required.

Tyler Thomas is a good guy and good teacher. Always came to class with 110% enthusiasm and energy. Cost accounting can be a dry subject but he tried really hard to be engaging. I would take this class with him if possible.
