Tracii was an awful professor, hands down. She made the class harder than it had to be, gave us weird assignments that were a waste of time. I learned not strategies to help with math, instead spent the whole class learning about how to set goals, and meditate. I dont recommend taking this class whats so ever. Gustafson is one of the worst professors I've ever had. Shes passice agressive and treats us like were little kids. RUN! Get out of this class if you can. Gustafson is one of the worst professors I've ever had. She talks to students like they're in middle school and assigns mundane assignments that are impossible to get 100% on. Do NOT take Tracii's “Success in Your Math Course” class. Instead of learning how to do math you'll learn study tricks like SMART goals. Attendence is MANDATORY and even if you're sick she will dock you points. She also assigns a lot of homework that is practically useless. You'd be better off studying for math on your own than taking her class.
I would strongly advise you avoid taking a class with this professor, as she does not foster a positive or enjoyable classroom setting. She treats her students like they're 14 years old, comes off incredibly passive and rude, and overall does not make her classroom a place people look forward to attending.
